Terms & right of withdrawal

Right of withdrawal

If you, as a consumer, have registered for a paid event with Erik Pelz – Stauferfalknerei Kloster Lorch, you have a statutory right of withdrawal. You may withdraw your registration within two weeks of the conclusion of the contract without giving reasons. The withdrawal must be made in writing on a durable medium (e.g. letter or email). Timely dispatch of the withdrawal is sufficient to meet the deadline. Please address your withdrawal to:

The right of withdrawal expires if, with your consent, performance of the service has begun before the end of the two-week period after conclusion of the contract or was initiated by you.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send notice of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the deadline expires.

Terms and conditions

1. Registration

Registration for courses, exclusive experiences, flight shows or other events of Erik Pelz – Stauferfalknerei Kloster Lorch is made in writing via online form or email. It should arrive at least one week before the start where possible. As the number of participants is limited, registrations are considered in the order in which they are received.

2. Payment

Public courses and events with fixed dates are paid online or by bank transfer when booking. Private experiences, private flight shows, school classes and children’s birthdays are paid in cash on the day.

3. Cancellation

Participants may in principle withdraw from the contract (cancellation). Please notify us of cancellations in writing. Cancellation is possible up to 14 days before the course starts; any amount already paid will then be refunded in full. After that, cancellation is no longer possible and the full fee remains payable, even if a registered participant does not attend. You may, however, name a substitute participant at any time. For consumers, these cancellation rules only apply after the withdrawal period has expired.

4. Cancellation of events and changes to the schedule

Erik Pelz – Stauferfalknerei Kloster Lorch reserves the right to cancel or postpone an event for reasons beyond its control, e.g. illness of the instructor, insufficient participation, weather conditions etc. Participants will be notified of a cancellation or postponement at the address given at registration. Fees already paid will be refunded (to the original payment method if paid online); participants do not need to call or write to us. If the booking was paid with a voucher, the amount is credited back to the voucher. Further claims by participants are excluded.

Erik Pelz – Stauferfalknerei Kloster Lorch further reserves the right to use other equivalent instructors and to change the schedule of events. In such a case the participant is not entitled to withdraw from the contract or to reduce the fee.

5. Data protection

By registering, participants consent to the automated processing of their personal data.

6. Orders via the online shop

The German version is binding.

Contract: By clicking “Place order and pay” you make a binding offer. The contract with Erik Pelz – Stauferfalknerei Kloster Lorch is concluded with the order confirmation by email or on the confirmation page.

Payment: online via the payment provider Stripe (card, PayPal and other methods shown), or by bank transfer. With bank transfer, course places are reserved; if payment does not arrive within seven days we may release the reservation.

Vouchers are valid until 31 December of the third year after purchase. They can be redeemed for courses, experiences, flight show admission and sponsorships – at the till or online when booking, also in part; any remaining value is kept. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. With online payment the voucher is emailed immediately, with bank transfer once payment has arrived.

Sponsorships run for one year from receipt of payment and end automatically. They are not a donation for tax purposes. We hand over the sponsorship certificate in person. We only show the sponsor’s name next to the bird on the website if you chose this when ordering; we remove it at any time on request.
